Joel – HS Graduate – In College

 

Let's see ... Joel graduated from High School last Spring. (Note:  See "Extended Martin Family.") 

 

He has traveled out to Utah at least 3 times, and he had tons of fun every time he came out. You'll see him in some of the photos elsewhere.

 

He is continuing as a lifeguard at the local recreation center, and really enjoys his job. He is currently one of the head lifeguards.

 

Joel is a freshman at Sinclair College in the Dayton, Ohio area. Actually, he was in a special program in HS that earned him a bunch of college credits ahead of time. So he's close to being a sophomore, if not already there. His major is engineering, but he says it's mostly general education classes at this point. He lives with a family in Centerville, close to where he grew up.

 

 

He just recently got braces on his teeth, which we needed to do for a long time. He also got his wisdom teeth out. So it has been the year for working on teeth. He came out to Utah for the extraction of the Wisdom Teeth ... that way he could get some TLC from his Mom. But he did plenty of playing while out here also.
