Tyler – Graduate (Sort of)

Tyler graduated with his AA from UVSC (Utah Valley State College, for you non-Utahns).

Uh ... sort of graduated, that is. You see, he finished the requirements, but kind of forgot to submit his application to receive a diploma. So he's turning in the application this month. But he's done. Really!

UVSC has qualified for University accreditation, but that's not "official" until this summer. But still, his diploma will read Utah Valley University. It has a student body of over 20,000.

Tyler is considerably on his way to his BA as well ... so he is still a student, and may finish his Bachelors by the spring of '09. His AA is in graphic design. He is pursuing a more generally-rounded Multi-Media degree for his BA. Among his skills are web design (including all manner of code and specialties to do really cool things on the web), photography, AV-related studies, and more. He loves this stuff.

We've made him the official family photographer – and we do take advantage of his good nature. Many of the photos you see throughout this website were taken by Tyler.

(Note:  A few people have asked about the ring on Tyler's finger. [Ahem] It's just a CTR ["Choose the Right"] ring, and it's on his right hand. Everybody take it easy!)

Tyler's Fireworks Photos

Tyler went to the fireworks last summer with the goal to try some creative photography of things that explode. Hmmmm. Well, the first four (4) shots are in focus, and pretty neat. But then he started experimenting with focus, and exposure times, and movement. The results are very interesting. So, just for fun, here is Tyler's view of fireworks ...

This is one of our favorite scenic shots by Tyler. Very ... uh ... scenic.
